Oh my word I am such a nerd. Just PLOWED through the first season of Black Butler in the past 48 hours. Downloading the second season now. Need a break though still kinda reeling (i.e. tingling from excitement). I love like, all the characters. And akin to what I really like SHIT JUST WENT CRAZY THE LAST 5 EPISODES OMFGSHDFJK HASFJSJDFH AS. Definitely some plot holes that I am still like wtf but hopefully they'll be cleared up in the second season. OH GOD GAIZ I GOTS GOOSEBUMPS AAAHHHHHHH. /nerd. This anime has kinda been in the back of my mind since I saw a crazy gif of it (from second season I think) and I was like MUST WATCH but somehow yesterday I finally decided to give it a go and I'm so glad I did. Took a few episodes to get into but um, I kinda finished it in two nights so yeah. I ONLY KINDA LIKED IT OKAY. I forget how much I love anime sometimes ;_; NDK Y U NO HERE NOW SO I CAN NERD OUT PROPERLY FUCK!

Okay but seriously the animation was pretty good (gets better definitely as it goes on especially the fighting) and I really loved the music, set the perfect tone for it. Just when I was getting kinda bored and hankering for more back story on characters, they give it to you. And it had just the right amount of slapstick KAWAII humor to balance out, you know, the fact that a 12 year old kid sold his soul to a demon to eat it later and be his butler until he avenges his parent's deaths. So you know, kind of a lot of violence. But considering the last anime I sat down and watched obsessively (like I do occasionally) was Baccano! Which was HELLA VIOLENT OMG DID THAT KID'S FINGERS JUST GET RIPPED OFF ON A TRAIN TRACK AAUUUGGHHHHH

Also it has all the homosexual undertones you could ever want from an (asexual?) anime! 8D There really wasn't much romance except for the kid being betrothed and one REALLY RANDOM SEX SCENE AND YOU'RE LIKE WOAH WTF IS HAPPENING my guess is the producers got sick of fangirls shota-ing it up. Which I mean come on who wouldn't once you get to know the main characters. YOU MADE A DEAL WITH A HOT ASS DEMON TO BE YOUR BUTLER SO HE CAN EAT YOUR SOUL LATER?? FFFFFFFFFFFFF???? Also apparently there was a survey and butler man was ranked #9 on who people wanted to marry. Which uh, I will say yes. Just yes. Yup.

Apparently I really like supernatural anime. Or probably anything with good animation/violence DBZ, Evangelion, Baccano!, Diebuster, Outlaw Star, Samurai Champloo...... ; A; Ima bad person uuhhhhh

Also I really wanna watch Tsuritama guys! It looks so fucking cute and weird! [link]
